What scale is the sculpture?
This Buddah sculptures scale is monumental as it is so large that it towers over you.
What materials do you think it has been made out of?
I think this sculpture has been made out of concrete or stone.
What physical texture has it got?
On the outer part of the scuplture it is textured  glass, mirror, paint, and other mixed media.
What is the main idea behind the sculpture?
The main idea of the "Buddah" sculpture is inspired by the artists interests in alternative religion.
How does the context of the sculpture affect the meaning of it?
The placing of the sculpture is very effective as the natural surrounding of the trees creates a quiet and organic feel towards the sculpture, making it look free and relaxed.

"Seated Hare" by Sophie Ryder
What scale is the sculpture?
This "Seated Hare" sculptures scale is so large that it is enormously bigger than any human or hare.
What materials do you think it has been made out of?
I think this sculpture has been made out of shaped wire and possibly clay.
What physical texture has it got?
On the outer part of the scuplture it is textured with a grainy feeling giving it a slight organic feel to its well shaped form.
What is the main idea behind the sculpture?
The main idea of the sculpture is influenced by the mediaeval times. The Hare was seen as an animal with special powers, it was able to turn into a human/witch which explains why the sculpture is half human half hare.
How does the context of the sculpture affect the meaning of it?
The placing of the sculpture is very effective as the natural environment where it sits is where both animals and humans are seen to be, it helps them come together which is the main idea behind this sculpture.

"Untitled" by Sol LeWitt
What scale is the sculpture?
This "Untitled" sculptures scale is difficult to explain as the smaller parts of the sculpture are smaller than humans but as the sculpture gets larger it becomes a lot bigger than a human.
What materials do you think it has been made out of?
I think this sculpture has been made out of breeze blocks.
What physical texture has it got?
The sculpture has a smooth, flat and sharp cornered texture as it is a geometrical shaped sculpture.
What is the main idea behind the sculpture?
The sculpture imposes a part of the American Minimalist movement from the 1970's.
How does the context of the sculpture affect the meaning of it?
The placing of the sculpture is very effective as it is minimal, meaning that the surroundings of the sculpture is not a distraction from the sculpture which is what the artists main idea was.

"Ubelka" by Lucy & Jorge Orta
What scale is the sculpture?
The scale of the human area of the sculpture is in proportion to an actual human, the base of the sculpture makes the overall piece much taller than a human.
What materials do you think it has been made out of?
I think this sculpture is made from bronze.
What physical texture has it got?
The sculpture has a smooth and fluent form/ texture.
What is the main idea behind the sculpture?
The sculpture is influenced and based on the Ubelka river, this sculpture is seen to be the mother goddess of water.
How does the context of the sculpture affect the meaning of it?
The placing of the sculpture is very effective as it is placed near the river which reflects the name of the sculpture and where its name has come from, the placing of the sculpture is also high up which reflects the recognition of being a goddess.
